The year 2026 is getting off to an exceptional start for the 20th Warsaw Half Marathon. From the original limit of 20,000 entries, by January 2, only a few hundred race numbers remained.
Due to the event’s enormous interest and jubilee nature, we have decided to increase the participant limit to 25,000 runners. This decision is final, and there will be no further increases. It is a conscious step taken with the event’s quality and safety in mind.
“This is a wonderful story for us and the best possible start to the year. The huge interest in the jubilee edition of the Warsaw Half Marathon is a clear sign that this event truly means something special to runners. We are happy that we can invite even more participants to celebrate our anniversary with us,” says Marek Tronina, President of the “Warsaw Marathon” Foundation.
The 20th edition of the Warsaw Half Marathon will take place under the slogan LET’S RUN THIS PARTY and will have a clearly jubilee and celebratory character. Participants can look forward to a festive setting, a celebration of the event’s 20th anniversary, and the atmosphere of a significant sporting celebration.
The new pool of entries is limited and may also sell out quickly.
