LUX MED is once again supporting runners

The LUX MED Group has once again become the medical partner of the running events organized by the “Warsaw Marathon” Foundation. As part of this collaboration, they will support three running events: the 18th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Half Marathon, the 18th Marathon Relay, and the 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon.

“As part of the prevention efforts, the importance of which we want to emphasize, is movement. Physical activity is an important component of a healthy lifestyle, which is why I am pleased that we are continuing our cooperation with the ‘Warsaw Marathon’ Foundation. We engage in further sports events, while also ensuring the safety of participants. Our medical rescue teams will provide medical assistance to runners at every stage of the route,” says Anna Rulkiewicz, President of the LUX MED Group.

During the running events, LUX MED’s specialist rescue teams will provide medical coverage. If necessary, they will assist the participants.

“The support of the LUX MED Group in medical care during our runs is invaluable. By organizing the runs, we want to promote physical activity, but also show how much satisfaction and joy this sport gives us. However, we cannot forget about the most important aspect, which is the safety of the participants. Thanks to this cooperation, runners can focus on their achievements, knowing that they are covered by the highest standard of health care,” emphasizes Marek Tronina, President of the “Warsaw Marathon” Foundation.

The LUX MED Group and the “Warsaw Marathon” Foundation continue their collaboration in promoting a healthy lifestyle and advocating the benefits of regular physical activity.

Presentation of the route for the 18th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Half Marathon and New Balance High Five Race

We know the routes of the 18th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Half Marathon and the New Balance High Five Race. The event will also host the 33rd Polish Half Marathon Championships. We have ensured a sporty yet picturesque profile for all the races. After 10 years, the finish line of the half marathon returns to the surroundings of PGE Narodowy, which will be filled with thousands of runners that day.

This year, participants’ dreams of improving their personal bests and professionals’ aspirations of breaking the Polish record are closer to coming true. Spring starts in Warsaw on March 24th at 11:00.

The ‘Half’ for a Record

The 18th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Half Marathon will be a fast race. We start from the Poniatowski Bridge near PGE Narodowy Stadium. The first kilometer leads across the Vistula River. Along Jerozolimskie Avenue, through De Gaulle and Dmowskiego roundabouts, we reach the heart of the capital: Marszałkowska, Królewska, and Krakowskie Przedmieście streets. Through the streets of the Old and New Towns, we head towards Żoliborz. The longest straight stretch leads along the Gdańskie Wybrzeże towards the Gdański Bridge, which we cross to the other side of the Vistula. We will finish on the surroundings of PGE Narodowy, running towards the stadium.

“We have always strived to focus on the sporting aspect of the half marathon, offering participants the opportunity to run on a fast and attractive course. Last year’s excellent results prove that you can run really fast in Warsaw – and it will be no different this year. We have minimized the number of uphill sections and turns, without forgetting, of course, about the tourist attractions. Both the participants of the Polish championships and the several thousand other runners will once again be able to welcome spring in a sporty way,” says Marek Tronina, President of the “Warsaw Marathon” Foundation.

The ‘Five’ for Spring Warm-Up

As part of the event, we can also take part in the accompanying New Balance High Five Race. The spectacular route will lead across the Poniatowski Bridge and along Jerozolimskie Avenue to the De Gaulle roundabout, around the palm tree, and back across the Vistula towards PGE Narodowy. During the run, participants will enjoy the most beautiful scenery of the capital!

“The New Balance High Five Race is an attractive alternative for athletes who are not participating in the half marathon that day. It’s a perfect opportunity for racing and aiming for a personal best, as well as for street debut,” says Marek Tronina, President of the “Warsaw Marathon” Foundation.
